Getting into college is no big deal?

July 23, 2007

Well, actually it IS big deal. I've been through college before and life wasn't that easy when it comes to school expenses and stuff like that. I had to study real hard so I can avail of our school's scholarship which helped a LOT with my tuition fees. Other college expenses include computers and software, books, transportation allowance, boarding and lodging, and even tutors if special help is needed on difficult subjects. There's also the last minute tuition hikes, these are surprises that are not thought about for the total education budget. My parents had to struggle with work just so we children can finish college and have a secure future.

Some parents might opt to consider financial aid from private education loans to keep up with the rising costs of education especially if they have more than one child in college. The Act Education Loan can supplement their financial package to assist in school and related expenses with its quick application process, flexible terms, and reasonable interest rates. Aside from their Act Alternative Education loan products which include college loans, graduate loans, K-12 loans and continuing Ed loans, they also offer Stafford student loans, PLUS loans, and student loan consolidation. Loan products are available online or by phone.
