More memory for my lappy!

July 24, 2007

I am working hard these days and so is my laptop. However its 1GB RAM is not enough for my multitasking needs. Tsk...My techie bro was right when he suggested that I make it 2 GB the time we purchased it. He told me Windows Vista could eat up lots of RAM and system resources. Oh well… the application windows and graphics are taking considerable time to load. And this is what the CPU and RAM meters are telling me:

No problem with the CPU resources, most of the time it is being used even less than 5%. But the memory? Arrghhh… I really need to add some more chips, huh?

Digicam blahs

I love taking photos. I’m thankful I have a digital camera handy when I am on a trip or attending some important events. There are just some valuable moments I’d like to capture and the digicam is just the right gadget for that. My favorite subject is nature, and recently I took this photo of my favorite plant in our front yard:

I find this plant inspiring and capturing it in photo reminds me of the lessons I learned from Mother Nature.

Recently, I was at a mall and couldn’t help but drool at the latest models of Canon cameras being displayed. Personally, I choose Canon since I have compared its superior pixel quality with other digital cameras for the same number of megapixels. I am actually dreaming of a 10 megapixel Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi while browsing over at RitzCamera.com. Its Zoom Kit includes Canon 18-55mm & Canon 75-300mm lens with average customer ratings of 4.5 stars. Now, where is my fairy godmother?
