Bird watching

July 25, 2007

Whenever I’m out in the garden, it always makes me happy to hear the sweet chirping of birds in the trees. I could also hear them outside my window while I’m working in my PC. I sometimes catch them playing in the clothesline and I wish I could take a photo but they’re too fast for me. Watching and listening to these little creatures can easily make me lighthearted. Too bad, we found out some of their nests fell to the ground due to the recent typhoon.

bird feeder I browsed over some bird supplies at the Anacortes Telescope & Wild Bird website and I like the cool WoodLink Mega Tube Feeder for our feathered friends (right photo). If you’re looking for bird watching supplies, you can browse through their binoculars and bird watching equipment. They offer the popular brand  of telescopes (including Celestron, Meade and Bushnell), astronomical binoculars, eyepieces, accessories, CCD cameras and related books.

I’m sure the feeder would attract more birds in our garden. Yes, I’d like our place to have more of these flying tweeties, listening to more chirps and tweets means a happier ‘music’ in the background.  :)
