I want a dozen computers!
May 19, 2008Yesterday something weird happened. I dunno if it has something to do with the weather or what, but the computers here at home just went on strike! Ugh. First, it was our desktop computer in the living room. My friend (who’s staying with us these days) was busy surfing the net when suddenly the LCD monitor just turned off. We tried to check the connection, restart the computer and all but the monitor just won’t start. So we tried to use my ECS Desknote and guess what… after few minutes of use, the screen just went blank. I booted it up and was surprised to see a WHITE screen screaming at me. Arrgghhh… two computers misbehaving in a day! That left my friend with no computer to work on, so she decided to call it a day since it was late in the evening anyway. Tsk.
With the incident that happened last night, it made me want to buy a dozen desktop computers! LOL. Kidding aside, well I just want to have a brand new PC since the ones here at home are meant to be replaced already. Well, if you’re like me who’s thinking of buying one, you might like to check out some guides and tips at ShopWiki before you decide which configuration is best for your needs. For the newbies, their site offers a guide to desktop computers with info on computer basics like CPU, GB, RAM, DVD or whether you will be buying new or second hand types. If you’re always on the go, check out their list of laptops from brands such as Acer, Lenovo or HP. for those who are on budget, the eMachines Desktop Computer which costs as low as $300 is another option.
As for me, I am still hoping our computers would behave better today after having a good night’s rest. I really hope so.
