Almost perfect hotel accommodation

March 17, 2009

My friends and I were a bit tired with preparing and packing up our things, we had to check out at noontime from a budget hotel room and transfer to a much better and spacious luxury accommodation. Anyway, upon arriving at our next hotel room, we were just so glad to see it well-kept with the beds looking oh-so-comfy!

Everything was almost perfect – the ambiance plus the added amenities (especially the free broadband access) save for some minor disadvantages. We noticed that the wood flooring was creaking as you step on it! Yikes! It was not that bad when our friends were still there, we were kinda noisy and chatting a lot so the creaking sound was negligible. But later that evening, as everything became quiet and most of us already under the covers, you could clearly make out the creaking sound as someone walks around.

Aarghhh…it wasn’t really that perfect after all.

Free broadband is always a great unexpected bonus, especially when you consider how much some hotels charge for it!
