Paper greeting cards are still in

Isn’t it heartwarming to receive greetings, invitations and messages the old-fashioned way via “snail mail” or postal mail?

Not that I don’t appreciate online greeting cards but the practice of sending greetings via regular mail is just not ordinary nowadays. One time I got a personalized Christmas card from a friend in the US with the front cover featuring the art work of her hubby. Even if it arrived late, it was special in the sense that she took more effort in sending the card via post office.

When looking for a greeting card to buy, I would usually get confused with all the choices, thus I would end up spending more time at the bookstore. There are just sooo many designs and messages for just about any occasion, even those simple greetings that help build any type of relationship – between friends, lovers, officemates, classmates or family members. It’s also good that most greeting card companies are now putting emphasis on helping the environment and using recycled paper.

Even with electronic mails and online animated greetings, the tangible essence of paper greeting cards still make a difference.
