Ever walked into a home and go dizzy with the mix of different textures and materials for the finish? Variety is good but one doesn’t have to go overboard. You walk into the living room and see the flooring in ceramic tiles, then you go to the kichen and step into linoleum. Design experts recommend consistency with the flooring materials. Yes, the style of the tiles and the colors can be mixed but the materials used should be consistent. Few flooring materials can be good for accent though, but having an assortment of different tiles such as granite, wood, marble, slate and other materials on different parts of the house often results to an overall design clash
