Stress can cause acne break outs

Yup, that’s what we hear from the medical experts and I readily agree with them. Why so? When one is stressed, the essential minerals such as zinc, magnesium and selenium that help control acne are depleted. Anxiety and worrying are not only bad for the soul but to the body as well. For instance, one tends to overeat or have poor eating habits when stressed, which results to unhealthy body and skin due to lack of proper nutrients.

Caring for one’s health, such as choosing the right foods, keeping fit and getting enough rest, are essential to clear acne-free skin, otherwise one has to consider getting professional medical help or acne treatment when the skin condition becomes serious. Hmmm…this reminds me of that silly quote, “How can you face your problem if the problem is your face?” :D
