Sodium Ascorbate (Vitamin C) for faster wound-healing and cancer prevention

August 30, 2009

Just few days after taking Sodium Ascorbate (Vitamin C), I was amazed that I didn’t feel any pain when one of my fingers got a small cut with the knife I was using while preparing food. A week before I started taking two capsules daily, even just a tiny prick would cause pain, so what happened was really a surprise for me. Thus, Vitamin C truly speeds up the healing process of wounds. Even my friend happily told me that her hands used to be easily bruised when hand-washing her clothes but now as a regular Sodium Ascorbate user, her hands are tougher and they don’t easily get wounded when she does her laundry.

Aside from a speedy healing process, Sodium Ascorbate is also good for cancer prevention. Note that I am talking about Vitamin C in Sodium Ascorbate alkaline form and not Ascorbic Acid which is acidic. With Sodium Ascorbate, you can take larger doses without any harmful side effects especially stomach pains unlike the regular acidic Ascorbic Acid. Our body needs more than 500g of Vitamin C, thus with Sodium Ascorbate, one can take even up to 2000g or more. Higher dosage is needed for those who are sick or tired, especially cancer patients. Vitamin C is essential for cancer treatment & prescriptions not just as a supplement but as medication. With the H1N1 virus and other infectious diseases spreading around, one needs to be protected with high dosage of Vitamin C in Sodium Ascorbate form.

I take a vitamin c supplement of 1000mg per day to keep me healthy. If I feel tired or unwell I will up that to 3-5 grams of vitamin c per day. It works every time. I would not be without my vitamin c.
