Money matters and investment options

August 13, 2010

I’m staying up late and doing some accounting again. As the self-appointed family treasurer, I have slowly made some changes about the bills payment, transferring the task to the person responsible for each bill. It’s just that my schedule is getting to be busier than ever and taking responsibility for multiple accounts is just too much for me to handle. Oh well, money matters.

Speaking about money and finances, I just read a very interesting article about budgeting and the author’s approach is quite simple. It’s another thought-provoking and challenging article about how to take control of one’s personal finances by saving up and investing for the future. For those who want to be responsible about their finances, the basics of investing and saving are very important.

Another good investment option to consider is buying precious metals aside from investing in real estate or stocks. I know some investors consider it wise to buy gold bullion as these are solid assets and especially nowadays that the world demand for precious metals such as silver and gold exceeds annual production.
