Another upcoming road trip

We’ll be off to another province for some important family event and life is getting busier again for us. Whew! From one important event to another… Life is really like that. It’s like the days are getting shorter for me, I don’t want them to end without finishing my scheduled tasks. But then sunset comes, gently reminding me to wrap things up for the day, to give my soul that much needed rest, to recharge myself  with a good night’s sleep. Sigh.

Anyway, it will be another road trip for us and we’ll be taking our trusty van with Dad as our driver. We took our van on a road test today and it still needs to have another check up. Our van is just a simple one, unlike those high-tech vehicles with those gadgets, sensors and truck tracking devices installed, but it has served us well over the years. We have tested it on many road trips, especially out-of-town trips with more than 200 kilometers of travel.
