Wow, I can’t believe I’m now back to my previous weight of 47kgs instead of the heavier 51kgs early this year. How did it happen? I just excluded RICE from my diet. Yup! Well, I am more of a viand eater than a rice eater anyway, so the process of completely eliminating it from my diet was not that difficult.
Now, rice is not the only food belonging to the carbohydrate group, so I also had to SAY NO to bread, pasta, noodles, sugar and other white flour products. Saying no to rice is easy but saying no to pizza or baked buns? Aargghhh…it’s an agony!
Well, that was just during the early days of going low-carb. After seeing the results on my weighing scale, it was easier to say no to each and every high carb-containing food. Anyway, my daily aim is about 30 grams of carbs a day and I’m really happy about my weight now.
The next project I’m gonna aim is to have a slimmer waistline especially having a flat belly. Of course, I do regular exercises, but I am planning to include weights and maybe some other techniques to get fast results. How about ellipticals? Hmmm… let’s see if it will be included in my list.
